I chose this book as the author was attending a fan expo in Edmonton AB and selling her books at a booth I was not familiar with her work but noticed that the book was set in Cremona Calgary 2 places I know well from my travels It was a light mystery perhaps geared to a younger set of readers the main character is a 21 year old officer with still much to learn She reminded me of a modern Nancy Drew books I read well over 30 years ago I found that I was understanding the parental point of view s [...]

This new edition was greatly improved from the last edition Yourkowski did a good job editing and reformatting the plot to show POV switches better, time changes, and overall flow The result was a much understandable story line that strengthened characters, relationships, and plot twists The intensity of the abduction around Chapter 25 and on was better handled and the finale worked out to a better resolution, all in the presentation A good first effort and nice tease of book 2.

I enjoyed Murder From Beyond The Grave by Yvonne Yourkowski so much I am glad to have found this budding author and I really cannot wait to see what else Yvonne Yourkowski has in store The characters were well developed and the plot was fast paced and gripping I couldn t put it down I highly recommend to everyone Lindsay McDonald
