  • Feisty The first quarter or so of this book was rather relaxed, hinting at and mentioning supernatural things characters in the world around the MC but somehow the story was still so hardboiled detective that I kind of sidelined it until suddenly this whole world of supernatural EVERYTHING had closed in around me And when the action picked up it didn t quit I really enjoy a book with a high tempo Not to mention funny narrative. This was a really enjoyable read I m adding the second one to my Feis [...]

  • A bit slow to get going, when I can set it down after finishing about half and not really care about the ending, clearly something is wrong Overall, I think it may work for others, it just didn t work for me.

  • Excellent world building, combined with vivid characters, made Blood Chimera an unexpected surprise I loved the gritty film noir feel of the book, and the way the story unfolded with plenty of twists and turns to hold my attention This is a must read for fans of paranormal, urban fantasy Well done Ms Lyons

  • A good read Fast paced Detective thriller with a different take on Vampires, shape shifters, and others who go bump in the night The protagonist is a newly made vampire who struggles to find his way in this new life I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
